Tulsans love Old School Bagel

This morning I had to go by the vet's office and spend $100,000,000 on two flea and tick pills for the dogs.

I craved Old School Bagel. I thought I might grab it while running to the vet. Of course I knew the one in my neighborhood would have a line into the street. I will not idle on Peoria half a block away to go through the drive-through. I always imagine sitting there waiting for my bagel breakfast sandwich and coffee then getting plowed from behind and dying. That would be a bad way to go out. How did Tim die? Waiting in his car for a bagel.

If there's open parking spots, I will pull in and go in and order, but there were none today.

Tulsans love Old School Bagel. I've been told the craziness doesn't translate to the OKC store(s), but that could have been a lie. Let me know if they're super popular in OKC.

So I go by the vet and give them my 401K and then decide to try the OSB near 71st and Yale.

There are some who claim the south store isn't as good as the Brookside store. I've only been to the south one a couple of times, but it tasted the exact same to me. And to be honest, the interior of the south store is a lot better than the OG version.

I arrived to this:

At least this line isn't in the street.

So after sitting there for a few minutes I decided to go inside. (Looking back, this decision really made very little sense.)

I walked inside and found this:

It took less than 10 minutes for me to get my food. The staff was super friendly as usual.

I returned home, and it was time to enjoy my breakfast.

I devoured the first half and then started this blog.

Midway through, I got up and went into the other room to grab something.

When I returned the second half of my meal was missing.

Turns out my breakfast was for two.

I hope Kida enjoyed that jalapeno cheddar bagel.

Like I said, everybody in Tulsa loves Old School Bagel.
